    Shimano Rear Derailleur

The shimano rear derailleur is a mechanism that allows the bike to use different gear ratios and facilitate cycling and then adapt it to various situations on the route. Various shimano rear derailleur systems were built in the late 1800s, as the writer Paul de Vivie and cyclists invented in 1905 he used a shimano rear derailleur on a journey over the Alps Some auction systems used to move the chain and shimano rear derailleur spread since 1938 when Simplex introduced the system control cable. In the fifties, was introduced by Tullio Campagnolo system currently in use, requiring only one cable drive. For several decades the best racing bikes rode derailleurs, wheels and chains produced by Campagnolo, while presently widely the products of Japanese company Shimano. In 1964, Suntour invented a type of rear derailleur that permits to maintain a greater distance from the sprocket and thus have an easier change. Once the patent expires, other companies will employ the idea in their derailleurs. The shimano rear derailleur is a device that creates a passage for the chain and which has a parallelogram structure, which is moved parallel to the toothed wheel generally by means of a cable operated by a lever installed on the barrel or on the handlebars. To allow their return and the correct position, the cable is maintained in tension by a spring, also in the case of the rear derailleur, there are other springs, levers and pulleys that allow a correct and constant tension of the chain and not sure not to overfill face more grip on the gears. Derailleur solder using one or more screws that attach to a substrate or directly to the frame, this is the most popular solution to the rear derailleur. Mechanical control of the shimano rear derailleur is the case, as in almost all changes to bicycle through a steel wire (controlled by a rotary knob, whereas before the first models were controlled by levers and rods) that changes the action of the derailleur, the wire can operate the shimano rear derailleur in different ways. Electrical promo prototype have it in 1993 with the Mavic [1], these changes are characterized by a drive by electric motor, thus require a power source, usually a battery [2]. Manual of the exchange is the typical solution for bicycles, where in order to have a change in the relationship you have to go to manually operate the control device of the derailleur. Manettino very simple system, characterized by one or more levers mounted on the bottom barrel, which regulated the tension of control cables, an evolution of these commands were shot in the hand lever.
