Shimano Shifters
According to the shimano shifters own proposal is to facilitate the timing of the sprint, since the rider is holding on the bottom of the handlebar making it difficult to change gears. The little accessory is as a trigger of rapid-fire and with a little touch makes the exchanges, the drawback is the finish (at least as shown in photo), the mechanic cut the ribbon of the handlebars but it was a clean look. It is speculated that soon own shimano shifters develop a solution to improve the look. NOTE: Mark Cavendish says he never used the Di2 although his team available to him and his companions from more than two years ago. But that may change with the arrival of the new accessory. You can use these HTML tags and attributes:. Now I would like to replace a set of Shimano shifters SRAM X9 twist / turn sfifters, this is a working combination or should I replace the Shimano Shadow? Thanks for your help, Olav. Thanks for your quick response, "formerly worked Shimano derailleurs and SRAM twist / shifters together just yet, is it the new Shimano" Shadow "rear derailleur?. SRAM has a "1:1 ratio" was introduced. In short, this means less cable you need to move the derailleur to the next cog to switch over to a shimano shifters derailleur (which works with a 2:1 ratio, and thus requires more cables). It does have to make a difference which concerns the shadow derailleur. The new Dyna SYS 10 speed shimano shifters systems are having a cable other ratio than the old 9 speed shimano shifters systems. For example, on a full 10 speed XT group with 9 speed XT Shadow rear derailleur NOT compatible. The new Dyna Sys has a different ratio than the old 9 speed (2:1 ratio). Wicked as though they, the Attack shifters SRAM twisters are suitable for Shimano drailleurs. WLE yet available only in 8 and 9 speed. Indeed. They are available in both trigger and twist variation. Note that when the trigger switch is pretty weird (both with the thumb, I believe). It does have to make a difference which concerns the shadow derailleur. As I suggested earlier ovdoorn will have to find a SRAM derailleur. An even better suggestion is idd of Wicked for shimano shifters compatible twist to go (for cheaper). Perhaps unclear, but I never write that the new 10 speed compatible with X9 twisters. I write only that the new 10 speed has a different ratio than previous generations of shimano. It does not necessarily have to be SRAM 1:1 ratio. This implies that the Shimano compatible SRAM shifters do not work on Shimano (shadow) 10 Speed, SRAM shifters because the 2:1 ratio. I claimed earlier that the incompatibility between SRAM and shimano shifters had nothing to do with the fact that shimano shifters uses a 'shadow' derailleur cable, but with different proportions. I thought you denied that I understood but apparently wrong. Is it clear now. For clarification I now have a 9 Speed ??Shimano Deore XT RD-M772 Shadow and want them to shift a 9 speed SRAM SRAM X. 9 Twist Shifter, Grip Shift, 1:1 actuation Ratio & SRS technology. I have all the shimano shifters cassette replaced by a SRAM 9 speed cassette, fine. In the past I have often combined this gestation period, Shimano derailleurs, SRAM GripShifters However, I believe reading somewhere that Shimano Shadow derailleurs have a different effect (something with the spring or so). But the shadow derailleur X9 does not work with because they use different cable pull. From me you can try, but will not complain if it does not work. The only option that works to its earlier attack shifters. . . .
