Well, I dunno, a friend who jigga (who let me have two capricorn 4500) fished tuna yellow jig on 50lb in DCP. (Max 30kg tuna!) . . We are not obliged to fish in the 80lb if?. A lot of people fishing well shimano/4500 Daiwa in 8000. it should be done on small prey is not it?. Obviously, if it bites a 70kg yellowfin tuna although it may not Irritated fizzle . . but. it has a saltist caracteristics as what? . . The problem here is that where you jig, you make average catch but you're never safe from a wholesaler who is get high . . all the saltist is the "Saltiga the poor" and Saragosa on "the poor man's stella" . . ; lot more capacity and brake around 20kg and you can expect to bring the biggest, the day . . That would be pretty damaging to retrieve a reel after such a mishap: see "No line! Go! Go!" then you change the mill or at least that melted the brakes on a rush . . . I use to make bright and bottom fishing by-100m,,,, things are going well (that's why Christopher talks about bancloche). cons by a mill is strong and tough,,,, believe me, if he is still alive after 2 years with me,,, is that it has merit. well, strange . . I have a Spheros 12 000 (never used) . . but compared to a capricorn 4500 . . The capricorn is very small. and I saw him mount a 22kg yellowfin tuna FAD with the 50lb braid (in jig with 200g) . . I doubt that shimano spheros 8000PG be worse than the capricorn (which is the little one petiot Daiwa) . . no? . . I have an FA 14000 shimano spheros very reliable and robust and can then upgrade the level of changing the brake rotors origin and putting in place of discs carbontex. As against an issue for deep jigging my 180 250 m I need more capacity than what I braid over now (80lbs) has about 250 meters I think. is more capacity that will play, you have no obstacles, you are not obliged to restrain, by cons should not it take you to the node end of coil on the reel !!!!!!!!. And before hitting a bus has run full throttle and then I have time today that I would restrain all I could!. Or otherwise the National Opus Bull, we see usr piers and all that are given to 12kg brake . . for less . . If this was what you wanted to hear this reel shimano spheros 8000 is very very good . . As history with TICA . . Same if it's your choice, you can only respect it . . good choice . . Personally, I found myself an orphan of my stella there not long ago. Fortunately, I had a Spheros 18000, who 've been well serviced. Here it is 6 months although I fish with it . . and finally I reject every day when I'll buy a top-class mill. To be honest, to use it does not give exactly the same impression that a Saltiga or a Stella, but it works very well, it slows down hard. I'm not sure it takes a 30-kilo trevally GT quilted to 3 meters of coral heads, but for 95% of the fish that we take the jig to the Meeting, it should suffice. . On older shimano spheros FA and FB I think the jig for the crank is not very practical. The best is to put a crank stella F which is much more pleasant and nothing to do compared with the crank of origin. By cons I see in the picture that the 8000 PG 2011 there is a crank stella and that's more comfortable in not insignificant at all. . . .
